Meet the Artists

Brenda Bourges – Face Painter, Balloon Twister
Brenda grew up in Europe where she was introduced to art at birth.  Her father, a fine artist, and mother, a financial wizard, owned and operated a small art gallery in the city of Hoorn, Holland.  Brenda started with fantasy make-up and body painting for nightclub dancers and galleries in San Francisco in 1994 and has since started painting faces for birthday parties and events.

“As a face painter, I absolutely love seeing the smiles on kid’s faces when they see their transformation in the mirror”.

Julie Stevens – Face Painter, Balloon Twister
A natural born face painter, Julie says that “[She] was always the one giving tatoos to kids in school with magic markers and charged a quarter each”.  Julie not only brings a bright and positive attitude with her to every event, but a fun fresh cartoon style of art, kids love.

Julie has been a professional face painter since 2009 when she decided to pursue a career in art.  She is also an amazing cartoon artist and balloon twister.

 

Angie Stedman – Face Painter

Angie is a well rounded fine artist who not only produces works on faces but canvas too!  She is one to always keep calm even when there is a line of 1,000 screaming kids!  Angie is currently attends college and is also carving out a path as a great face painter.

 

 

 

Melinda Jones – Face Painter

Melinda’s life has always revolved around color, design, and fine art. Raised amongst her grandmother’s easel and paints she has had a paint brush in her hand practically since day one.  Today she’s an exceptional face painter as well as a professional makeup artist and fine artist. Melinda’s joie de vivre and personal warmth are infectious and always a hit with kids of all ages.
